David, the dress code...the dress code. Now remember, when you go to bed, make sure your jammies are on...that's the proper dress code...no?

Number 2 in command of the NBA..Russ Granik, to step down as Deputy Commissioner...maybe in title, not in function. He still may be air apparent to Stern, who say he'll stick around for five more years...yuk!!! Maybe in this time frame he will screw the game up even more....so sez I.

Do coaches make great coaches, or do great players make great coaches?
Oooops, I was wrong. I did say,"Who were the two best COACHES, in basketball?"....not COLLEGE exclusively.....sorry.
Yesterday, I related to a ESPN show. Host Stephen A. Smith, had Isiah Thomas & Bob Knight, as guests. The question was asked of Isiah,"Who in your mind were the two best coaches in COLLEGE?" He said, "Knight & Deam Smith." A respondent answered the "blog",..."Aurbach, was the greatest basketball coach." Where did "Red" coach college?

Today on the sports show hosted by Stephen A. Smith, ESPN...he interviewed Isiah Thomas, President of the New York Knicks. To Isiah's, right was seated Bobby Knight. Question, by Smith,"Isiah, who in your opinion were, or are, the two best basketball coaches, college that is?" Now, here's Isiah, sitting next to his Indiana University Coach Knight, and what do you think his first pick was?....Right.Bobby Knight. His second pick was Dean Smith. Tell me, who are yours? Does anybody deny that there are thousands of good and great coaches out there like Wooden, etc.?

Check this...how many times have you seen a player in any sport point up to Heaven after making a good or great play? It's done all the time. I say "balder-dash"(short for BS)...Do any of them point to Heaven when they screw up....NOT. This show of pius behavior is just another ploy for "air" time. Keep the game on the ground...quit messing with diety.

Think about this. Is it moral, compassionate, carring, just plain quit passing the ball back and forth for the past ten years by the NBA (Stern)& the National Basketball Ass'n(Hunter), who should jointly vest those 3 & 4 year pioneer era veterans who, ("set the table") with a gratuity similar to what Major League Baseball is doing by "gifting" $10,000 annually to 23 remaining alive Pre-1947 Negros who participated in the old Negro Baseball League. Fact: Out of 85-3 & 4 year NBA,veterans who were "stiffed" in the 1988 Pension inclusion, 41 remain. Is the formula..just let them die and the problem will be solved? Hey, Stern & Hunter, who's going to spend your money when you pass on....?
